It is produced in women during puberty and after menopause while secreted at higher levels during pregnancy, parturition, and lactation (breastfeeding). The release of GnRH was directly related to the secretion of estrogen in women.

  • Somatotrophin Growth Hormones

These hormones are generated by the pituitary gland, hypothalamus, and gonads, produced in response to sex hormones from the testicles or ovaries. They are also released during puberty and after menopause. These growth hormone molecules stimulate cells that regulate bone formation and bone marrow activity, increasing bone density or osteoblasts (bone-forming cells). They also stimulate the muscle cells, resulting in increased lean muscle mass.
